Aloha All,
Most of you will remember reading or hearing that our very extreme buddy David Goggins found out that he has a hole in his heart. This was about the time that David was on the cover of the subscription edition of Outside magazine and also was featured in an extensive article in Triathlete magazine. Although this is a very serious heart condition, knowing David very well, I was not concerned, other than how he would handle emotionally, having to dial-down somewhat, his extreme athletic lifestyle. Well, I talked to his wonderful and very supportive wife Aleeza on two occasions early-on and she assured me that David was doing fine. Then nothing.
As time passed and I had left messages on numerous occasions over the proceeding months without returned calls from either David or Alleza, I started getting worried, especially since David and I normally talk every few weeks. Finally David called !! As it turned out, he'd been deployed to places far away for several months. Although he was waiting for his heart to repair itself, his heart condition had only slowed him down slightly, as he is still doing endurance events, primarily on the bicycle. The heart condition had kept David from doing RAAM, the solo bike race asross America last summer. In a few months the doctors will re-test and see if the hole has repaired itself. It was fun to hear the energetic, upbeat tone in his voice. David is still David. David Goggins will still be a household name in athletic circles for years to come. It will be exciting to see what is in store for this extreme guy in 2010. Yeah David !! All the best ! Don

I have an organization called Character Combine to me mentor high school coaches and their captains/players of influence.
We have long sought to book David Goggins to be a keynote speaker.
Any suggestions on how to connect with his booking agent?
Thank you in advance
